I’ll run, explore, and go to parks

Pet care experience

I’ve worked with animals all my life. I’m an avid horseback rider and my barn has all kind of animals: dogs cats horses birds you name it. I have experience caring for a facility of 15 horses, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a bird all at once! I currently have one dog of my own named Bandit, a 2 year old ACD mix who loves other dogs. I just moved to Irvine to start a PhD program in the fall and am looking for a way to fill my days until my program begins in September. My home is cozy with plenty of room downstairs so also good for older/arthritic dogs. We have a park within 20ft of our house and lots of good walking paths in the area. If your dog likes car rides, I’d love to do a trip to one of the local short hiking trails too!

Angie is a wonderful dog sitter and animal lover. Angie has worked with animals, specifically horses for over 10 years in a professional setting. Angie's greatest asset as a dog sitter is her ability to pick up on an animal's behavior and emotion. Angie has ample experience working with overreactive dog breeds such as Australian Cattle Dogs who have fear of humans or are protective of their own space. Angie never uses negative reinforcement to punish a dog: no shock collars, choke collars or spraying with water. Angie has completed multiple certifications for dogs in both agility and obedience training with some of these dogs achieving the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certification. Angie always has a smile on her face and is willing to go the extra mile for your pup on a walk.

Angie has been an animal lover her entire life. She knows that making an authentic connection with an animal takes patience, love and time. I would trust my dog to Angie's care in a heartbeat. She is responsible, reliable and kind.

Angie is the most patient, sweet, compassionate, responsible dog and animal lover I know. I trust her with my chocolate lab (Henny) when I go away on vacations and she keeps him healthy, happy, safe, entertained, and SO LOVED. He knows when we are going over to her house before a trip and his tail doesn't stop wagging - it's cute!! I recommend her to everyone in my family that needs pet assistance because she is the absolute BEST and I feel so safe and secure knowing my Henny is in her hands. Thank you Angie!!!

Angie's experience with animals extends far beyond just dog walking. Through and after college, Angie was regularly trusted to run and care for a horse barn with 20+ horses and at least 3 dogs. She knows how to multitask, has great attention to detail, and keeps calm in stressful situations. And she always puts the animals first. This is especially displayed on how well she cares for her own dog, Bandit. Bandit is extremely well trained and always mentally and physically stimulated by playdates, hikes, and various training classes and exercises. Anyone would be super lucky to have someone as committed and caring as Angie take care of their furry friend!

Information Angie C. would like to know about your pet

- Does you dog have any allergies or require any medication? - Is your dog allowed on the furniture? I typically allow dogs on the couches/beds when they are staying with me but can adjust that expectation depending on your preferences. - Does your dog have any vices I should know about? - Is there anything I can do to make your dog more comfortable, such as special toys/treats/games they like? I do not have any breed preferences.

A typical day

- walks/runs (I’d love a running buddy!) - trips to the park right next to our house - walks down to a coffee shop to relax - endless pats and cuddles from me!
