I would love an opportunity to love on and care for your furry family member and help you along the way with drop-in services while you are away at work or on a trip; dog walking as you and they need it; or doggie day care on a regular or as needed basis. Dogs have been a part of my life from the day I was born. My mom and bonus dad often brought home stray dogs, caring for them, and finding them a loving home. Several dogs became members of our family. Once I had a family of my own, I adopted older dogs from friends whose life circumstances wouldn’t allow them to take their furry family members with them. Unfortunately, those older dogs have since passed away. When my oldest son and his family were stationed in Japan, we became a dog family once again by caring for their German Shepherd for 3 years. We miss him every day, but we receive photos and videos weekly from my daughter-in-law. (He has the best personality and disposition.) Time with all these pups cultivated a love for dogs within my own children, begging for a puppy daily. A new dog isn’t a fit for us right now, so I want to fill that doggie-shaped hole in our lives by caring for the pets of others.
