I have cared for pets for the majority of my life. I started as a kid when my parents had pets and gave me responsibilities for them such as walking and bathing them. When I got older I took my own fur baby under my wing back in 2004 right before the birth of my first child. My dog had 3 legs so I’m also very accustomed to working with handicapped animals. After working for 10 years in the Biopharmaceutical Industry, I’ve decided to quit and start my own business ‘Nubby & Company’ to provide professional pet concierge services, and to just do what I love most which is to care for animals. It’s named after my dog Nubby who passed away after a great 14 years together and this is just one way of keeping his name alive and in my heart. I decided to join the Rover community to market myself to other pet owners around my community who can utilize my services. My goal is to be able to enhance the busy lives of my clients by providing the upmost professional quality care to each pet as if they were my own fur family, and to ensure a fun yet safe and nurturing environment for your beloved pets. I am pretty available most days and times. I am also pretty flexible between taking on jobs from Rover as well as from my own business in the pet industry. I have a big doggy fence set up on the INSIDE my home with a huge area of space to play for your pet, otherwise pets are also free to roam my house considering they are well behaved. I have a backyard and front yard area where I would be taking your fur baby out for their bathroom breaks and a sidewalk out front that I can trail on for walks. PLEASE be sure to have your dog well groomed before their stay if they will be boarding with me or coming for doggy day care. Should any dog come in a poor condition such as needing a bath, or they have really long nails that will cause scratch injuries to myself or others, etc. I will charge an extra fee to have them groomed here in my home using a Pet Mobile service by the name of Pawfections. They will bill me directly and then I will ask you (the client) for reimbursement for those charges which can be paid via Zelle. So please be curtiois and make sure your pets are well groomed and cleaned when they enter my home. Now if you purposely want your dogs to be groomed during their stay here, whether because it more convenient or you don’t have the time yourself, let me know and I can also schedule Pawfections Mobile Pet Grooming to come out on day 1 of their stay here with me to be taken care of. Just provide me with advance notice so I can set up services. Your dogs also MUST get along with other dogs and kids. If this is an issue please reach out to see if I am able to make any accommodations beforehand. Since this journey I have also expanded onto other ventures and am happy to say that I have my own line of pet products for their skin, toys, fun bark boxes, and yummy healthy treats! Feel free to ask me about that, as I may have something your fur baby! We also do ‘bark boxes’ for any other special occasion besides birthdays!
