ABOUT ME Hi, my name is Angie. Currently I am a full-time student, I am doing masters in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, and working part-time with POBL - with people with disabilities and learning difficulties. I am a very mature and responsible person, who takes risk assessments all the time as my job requires it, but this is a very useful skill in dog sitting, one that the animal owners appreciate muchly. The thing you must know about me is - I am a bit of a weirdo, I am interested in every dog that is passing me on street because I think they are all so cute... I am big dog lover and they usually love me back... with a few exceptions as I learned during my years in dog caring haha :) I always do my best to make sure your dog is settled and comfy with me, but no dog is ever 100% settled in a strangers house, for this reason I like meeting my dog customers beforehand to make sure they are familiar with me and they think of me as a friend of yours who they 'know' - my psychological background comes in handy here haha :) Obviously they always miss their owners and are not sure when you are coming back for them.... but I assure you, I provide so many walks, plays and distractions that they might just forget about going home :) Enough about me! WHY AM I HERE? Having lived in the company of dogs my whole life, I have always gotten along with them, regardless of behavior, energy or even size. Experienced in dealing with all kinds of doggy personalities - I have thoroughly enjoyed their company and have treated them with a great deal of love and care. I have experience with dogs of different sizes and ages. I have taken care of many Yorkshire terrier's, a Husky, Jack Russel terrier, pitbulls, boxers and many others.. I have given medication to pupils before ... and I have had a few small emergencies in the past during my DogBuddy adventures (previously this service was called DogBuddy :)) but as this service provides you (and me) with a boarding insurance, we can access professional help anytime! Due to my extensive experience, I am fully prepared for everything during my walks! so I know how to deal with emergencies and how to follow this website's policies regarding vet help & visits while you are unavailable/ on holidays. Tfou tfou, *spitting* AND *knocking the wood three times*, obviously, we don't want anything to happen to your beloved animal. I would like to walk your dogs on long long walks into the beach, woods and places where they can play safely. I have my favourite paths in this city and I love to be outside on the fresh air... or on the beach (if your dog prefers it - please note: I will never take your dog off the leash during a walk even if its the most well-behaved dog ever for safety reasons of the dog!) Dogs are amazing! so let me take care of your dog :) I am here to provide you with the best service possible - cuddles, chill but also active long walks and mostly - just keeping your dog happy ;) IMPOTANT - My services include sending you updates on Messenger or WhatsApp (with pictures) every few hours for you to see how your doggy is doing and if all your service demands have been administered/fulfilled (e.g. meds, number of walks, application of any creams, brushing or oral care, information about your pupils' diet/meals). I am flexible with times of walks, drop in's and times of pick up's :) ABOUT MY ROTA - I usually work on the weekends only; my working schedule will be updated often and usually visible in my calendar. If you do need to leave your pet with me for the weekend or a whole week, if I happen to be at work at any of these days, my fiancee will be taking care of your dog just as well as I would as he is a dog lover too. Before I agree to any booking of dog staying for longer than 2-3 days, I expect a meeting to meet your loved one and see if our personalities (mine and your dogs) fit in together, and to establish your expectations about taking care of your dog.
