I have had dogs all my life. I grew up with my grandmas Schnauzer and Saint Bernard until they passed from natural causes. After that we had several more family dogs; a husky, a black lab, and a pug. I took the responsibility of daily feedings, take outs, and play times. Once I was out of the house I had a Pitbull left on my doorstep. Only 5 months old, my boyfriend and I took him in and he quickly became the light of our world. We wrestled, we walked, we ran, we trained, we snuggled. Nothing is more heartwarming than the love a dog can share with you. As time passed my boyfriend and I had split and he kept our pit. My new apartment doesn't allow animals so since then I have been randomly dog sitting for family and friends. However I would love to dog sit more frequently. Dogs are amazing therapeutic creatures that I feel I can connect more with than a human. I'm not afraid to run out in the mud, big dogs do not intimidate me, and I have no problem picking up after a mess, house accident, or sickness. I just want to return as much love as I can get.
