Pet care experience
I am a 31-year-old wife, mother of 4 kids, 4 giant labradors, 4 cats and 2 guinea pigs. 4 is kind of my number if you couldn't tell. I have had dogs since the day I was born, and I have always known I would one day work with animals. (I've had pit bulls and Labradors and I've had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as well.) I've had cats of my own for the last ten years and I have a background with all sorts of others, such as guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, hamsters, etc. Currently, I'm studying to receive my basic dog training certificate, which I plan on later specializing in separation anxiety dogs, and aggressive dogs. I am also Pet CPR certified and taking classes regularly to keep myself update all everything in the pet business!

Angelica is great with my pets and very easy to work with. My 2 cats were well taken care of when I was out of town.
Angelica provided the exact services I was looking for while I traveled out of state. I was impressed with her energy level, warmth, and professionalism. The specific services I asked for were noted and I felt confident that she would follow through. At that first meetings my two dogs clearly liked Angelica and were relaxed around her. I believed Angelica connects very well with animals, especially dogs. A special bonus for me was Angelica's Texts to me daily and pictures of my two dogs. She was also sensitive to their needs and one day as one preferred to play in the yard the other one wanted to snuggle. Angelica was there to provide what my 4 legged kids needed. I plan to hire Angelica in the future.
Angelica became my savior! Angelica is so responsive and amicable and a true animal lover! My girls were immediately at ease with her, so I knew in the first 30 seconds that she was the right choice! I have 2 older dogs that have to stay inside all day while I’m at work and she has never missed a visit! She has also been so flexible and made time for 2 visits in one day when Work has kept me longer than expected. This has completely eased my stress level thinking about my Girls sitting inside all day long trying to “hold it”. When I get home, my girls are jumping around and so happy and I know that they had a great day because of her. She always posts photos for every visit, and has even text me when one of my girls was limping. And then there was the day she let me know there were questionable groceries left on my steps... Did I mention she is also a Pet Assistant?!? I have such a busy schedule that it is hard for me to do shopping sometimes and she was able to pick up a big bag of dog food that I needed desperately before the weekend hit! There are times when I think about moving to a bigger house, and I always think, “Will Angelica still be able to stop by or is this house too far?” I just don’t want to lose her!! Pick Angelica and you won’t regret it.
I hired Angelica to come by and hang out with my cat for an hour a day while I was gone for a week. Since I moved into my own place (over a year!), I haven’t gone away for longer than a weekend purely out of concern for my boy’s well being. I posted on Care.com and Angelica responded and linked me to her website. Her legitimacy is one of the reasons why I hired her, but she was extremely communicative and really put me at ease while I’m away. My cat still hated me when I got back, but that’s not her fault. Will definitely be using her for my next getaway!

I would like to know if your pet has any medical issues or allergies or if they have food and treat preferences. Also, if there are any dislikes or aggression/reactivity issues. I love all the puppies- of all shapes and sizes! Also, all types of pets are welcome. I'm comfortable with just about everything - from dogs to cats to rodents to reptiles to horses and goats. The only thing I don't do is spiders. That's a big no.
A typical day
Walks can happen anywhere that you and your pup prefer. From around the neighborhood or a trip down the waterfront on Ruston Way, or on the trails at Point Defiance Park. Or we can take a trip down to any of the dog parks in the area, and play with friends! Also, all of my walks are paired with Wooftrax, supporting the Tacoma Humane Society. If it is for a drop in, I will make sure to feed and refill waters, as well plenty of treats (as long as its allowed), brushing, games of tug-a-war, throwing the ball. I can spend anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour with your pet, and I can usually make several drop-ins a day. (Dependent on availability and distance)
