Pet care experience

📌Attn: House Sitting bookings During holiday dates, I am typically more available during the day! Other days, I am away at times but only between 2-5 hrs Rates are all inclusive: • Basic Obedience training/reinforcement • Treats (diets are discussed beforehand) • Extra time on weekends • 💚🌱 I will also care for your plants! Lower rates: • If you have rescue dogs over a year &/or seniors over 9 years, let me know and I'll lower the rate for you 🥰 Note about rates: 20% goes to Rover for their fees Boarding rates: • Access to our yard & free range to roam our home. • Complimentary bath, for dogs boarding >5 days Note about rates: 20% goes to Rover for their fees One reason that might set me apart from other sitters— I’m a big advocate for the pitties in our community. I aim to do magic through basic obedience training. It does take time and a lot of repetition sometimes, but this breed is sooo smart! The goal: The pitties become well-mannered breed ambassadors promoting their positive image! 🥰 I have a little over 12 years of accumulated experience working with dogs(+cats) one on one; 9 of those years, I’ve been with Rover & they’ve been amazing to work with. I have also been a Foster Coordinator for a year with Pitbull Rescue of San Diego, I volunteered with SNAP for a year and SDDAC in Carlsbad for two years. In my personal life, I was also raised by dogs my whole life, 34+ years of living and caring for dogs. 2011, I was rescued by a year old Pittie mix. My soulmate, Sweet Kāne lived to 12 years and even lived an extended couple of years with cancer. He crossed rainbow bridge this past Sept. 2022🌈 In 20+ years I’d love to still be living in San Diego and retired, as your local trusted and vetted Dog Behaviorist. I would love nothing more than to understand dogs & to help/work with their owners. With that, I hope it brings balance and harmony at home.

I felt so comfortable and no worries having Mae watch my fur baby for the first time. She kept me updated and assured me my pup was okay. I recommend and will be booking again 🤍

Mae was a life saver. We flew in from out of town for a wedding with our 2 pups and had to find a sitter last minute. I've never used Rover, in a Vrbo house and anxious dogs from traveling. I was so nervous leaving my babies with anyone. Mae had great reviews and was available last minute. She was amazing with the boys and made us feel comfortable! She played, walked, fed and even tried to teach them some tricks. She updated us with pictures and texts throughout the night. She was so wonderful, we asked her to come back one more time before we left. I would highly recommend and I hope she'll be around the next time we come for a visit. I will make sure we stay in her radius so she can be the ones to look after the pups. Thanks Mae💜

This is the third time Angelica has watched our dog and two cats and I truly can’t say enough nice things, or recommend her enough. I know they are all well taken care of and loved when we are away. It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to plan a trip and know that your animals are well take care of while you’re gone and you don’t have to worry. Our dog Roo loves the attention and play time and probably would go home with her if she tried 😅 If you’re looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, look no further.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety, Trust & Environment — Our large fenced-in yard is spacious and very dog-friendly. It’s mostly grass and has spots of shade. We also have dog beds scattered on our shaded patio for them to relax in the amazing weather here in Oside. We only watch one family member at a time for your own peace of mind unless we discuss and explore options to socialize! **Crate-trained dogs only please, this is for their safety**

Information Mae G. would like to know about your pet

Must: Crate-trained, or exposure to proper training. Side note: I am happy to discuss some dates for us to work on this together for successful future boarding experiences. It’s preferred that dogs are: • Dog-friendly, • House-trained I’m happy to work with you if the above don’t apply to your pet. So, if there is anything specific that I need to know, please do let me know. That includes: meal time behaviors, house rules they are use to, commands that they still need to work on, etc. I have experience with most breeds, but I have the most experience with the pitbull type breeds. My preferences size & level of obedience: Due to my own size & strength, medium & smaller breeds do not necessarily have to be dog-friendly; working with larger dogs, they would need to be dog-friendly or have gone through some formal training already. :)

A typical day

Each day, you dog will enjoy at least 2 mini sessions of fun tricks and obedience training. They will also enjoy 60 minutes of quiet time after either training or a long walk around the neighborhood. During meals, they will eat alone either in a separate room or in their crate. If your dog is boarding with us, potty breaks are as needed and they are never crated more than 2 hours with the exception of bedtime(~8 hours) since they will be in their crate at night for their safety.
