My name is Angelica and I am a full-time college student as well as a part-time employee. I am looking to get more involved with animals, as I am interested in seeking the path of a veterinarian. The first time I was ever introduced to an animal was when my sister bought a Boxer. I was not the primary caretaker, however I did help take her for walks if needed. About 3 years after this, my mother and I adopted our own dog, a pitbull and lab mix. She is very friendly towards people, but she is extremely dog-aggressive. Continuous training has made our walks easy, but I am still familiar with leash-pulling. She is also a typical pitbull, with a need for endless affection, so I know how to make a dog feel loved. I love to play with my dog, I use stuffed animals (with no beads inside) and dog toys, and she is treated to a bone every once in awhile. Animals I work with will receive love when they want it, and treats when I do see them. They won't have to be sad when you're not there.
