I'm a recent empty nester and my kids took the pets when they left home which leaves me in the unique position of being able to travel and give all my missing pet love to other peoples pets. I love a good walk and walking a pet makes it all the better! I keep a laser pointer in my purse just in case I run into a kitty. I love to pet and brush both puppies and kitties and they love the attention. I call it playing beauty shop. In my life I was blessed twice when I moved into homes that had feral cat colonies. I developed a very good relationship with both the TNR director and the vet. I was able to tame and rehome over half of the kitties! The others were released back in the community and became happy, healthy, productive neighbors! I'm a bit of a neat freak. I lysol my luggage and hard cover personal property before leaving my home and travel with a lint roller.
