I am a very active pet lover and pet owner. I have always had pets growing up including, dogs, cats, hamsters, pet rats, fish and hermit crabs and am very comfortable caring for all types of animals. I am responsible, reliable and very interested in making sure your pets are both healthy and happy in your absence. Thank you in advance for trusting me with your very important family member while you are away. The services I offer are pretty flexible and will include trying to maintain the types of care your pet is used to, whether that is a short walk or long walk for dogs, playing fetch with the cat or allowing the hamster to run in the ball….. About me: I love long walks and running, hiking, photography and enjoying the outdoors. I am happy to take a dog to the dog park, on a long walk or a run if that is what they are used to. I am happy to take photos and send to you each visit, daily or whatever your preferred frequency is. My main goal is to make sure your pets are loved and well cared for in your absence just as they would be if you were home. About our current pets: We have Franklin who is a very active 15 year-old Shih Zhu/Soft Coated Wheaten mix and Shadow who is a very sassy 2 year-old cat that keeps Franklin on his toes. We also have two hermit crabs. About my services: I am happy to and have experience administering medications, special dietary needs or anything else that your pet may need. Please just let me know what your pets are accustomed to and I will do my best to accommodate your/their requests. Past experience: In addition to our own pets, I have cared for a Jingo and Beagle on a daily basis for the past 9 years, over the years these pups have had special medications and special dietary needs that were no problem to accommodate. We have also cared for several other dogs and cats when friends and neighbors have gone on vacation over the years. Your pets: I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible while you are away.
