Pet care experience
My husband and I have over 15 years experience taking care of our own dog (a Boston terrier - no longer with us), as well as several years experience with our families’ dogs (Huskies, Malamute, Keeshond, and mini Pinscher). We love animals, and dogs have always been a part of our lives. We have experience taking care of dogs from 8 weeks old all the way through their senior years. We can follow training guidelines, help give tips, work with feeding schedules, and administer medications. (Also just to note, I speak English (only very basic Swedish). My husband also speaks English, but is a bit better at pratar Svenska.)

Our home is great for small to medium sized dogs under 15kgs. The space is about 60sqm and up only 1 flight of stairs. We are on a quiet one-way street, near a small park and a short walk to Mariatorget, Fatbursparken (with a dog park), and Medborgarplatsen. We have a dog bed, bowls, some toys and blankets for your dog's comfort, but always feel free to bring their own things to help them feel (and smell) more at home. We will always follow the guidelines and schedule you send us for feeding, walks and any additional potty breaks. Please supply food, treats and any dietary restrictions.

A typical day
Your pet will always be the center of my attention. Depending on weather and your dog's preference, we'll try to get outside as much as possible. We can either walk around the small park near my apartment, or head on over to Mariatorgiet or Fatbursparkens for more activity, or go on long walks around Gamla Stan or Södermalm. I'll have a few toys at home for tug-war, fetch/catch and cuddling. I'll also make sure to have a cozy space set up for midday naps.

Availability
I work 100% from home as a freelance designer and generally only 20-30 hours per week. So my hours are very flexible. I'll always be able to maintain your dog's preferred walking/feeding/playtime schedule. I would be with your pet 100% of the time as the sole care provider. My husband is a software engineer and would join in the evenings and weekends.
