I've grown up taking care of dogs. In the past, I've taken care of new born Chihuahua puppies to a fourteen year old Staffordshire terrier. Currently, I volunteer at an animal rescue Sunday mornings to walk Weimaraners, which is a large German dog breed. Having this experience with a broad range of dogs taught me that each age group and breed have different needs. Older dogs are more sensitive toward their surroundings while younger dogs need to be watched over more with their tendency to get into trouble. Walking larger dog breeds do require a stronger grip as they do have a desire to go after smaller animals such as squirrels. But all dogs, big or small, old or young, all require love and undivided attention.
