Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priorities. I understand the serious responsibility and trust involved in allowing me to enter your home and care for your beloved dog. I will be extremely attentive to your dog's behavioral patterns and body language when approaching and interacting with them, and very aware of other people, other dogs, and our environment while out walking (as well as street chicken bones!!). I will strive to reinforce any established routines and preferred training methods that you share with me and will otherwise fall back on my solid background of experience with a variety of dogs. I have been a walker and a pet-sitter for many friends and roommates, caring for at least 12 different dogs ranging in size from an 8-lb Yorkie to a 115-lb Lab-Mastiff. I am comfortable approaching any breed, and I have managed two dogs from the same household. I also have intimate experience living with, nurturing, and understanding a dog with extreme separation anxiety, and I will do my best to make transitions into and out of your home as smooth and painless as possible. Before the pandemic, I worked for over a decade as a Stage Manager on and off Broadway. I am organized, detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, able to take direction and notes for improvement, and good with scheduling. I am a clear and thorough communicator and will be happy to check in with you as frequently as you prefer. Any moment that I can share with a dog lifts my spirits and brightens my day.
