We are an animal-loving family of 4, with two active children (ages 10 & 13). We live in spacious house on a 1/2 acre lot. We are doing this because our children love dogs! They want a dog but we have a cat and are not ready for the commitment. They will love, pamper and entertain your dog the entire time he/she is here. We enjoyed this when we did it for the first time last summer and we donated all of the money we made to Valley of the Kings Animal Sanctuary. We are doing this same this summer. Your dog might need a vacation to recover from exhaustion after being entertained by our kids! Dogs are welcome to sleep where ever works best for them: in your crate, in our kids' bedroom or in bed with our kids. We also have a cat and two caged rats. The cat will be kept separate from the dog in the master bedroom, with the door closed. I am a stay at home Mom so the dog will never be left home for more than an hour. Our kids hope to make your dog a temporary part of our family. We can only watch one dog at a time and we ask that you bathe your dog before you bring it. In return, we try to have our house professionally cleaned after each dog we watch. That way there are no lingering dog smells to bother your dog.
