Pet care experience
I'll care for your pets as if they were my own! There has always been dogs (and cats, horses, cows, goats, birds, annnd fish) in my life and I know exactly what your little bud needs. I like to get outside as often as possible, and bringing along a companion always makes the walk more enjoyable. I'm attentive and empathetic to both YOUR needs, as well as that of your pets and will be accommodating in any way I can. Whether that constitutes a couple photo updates of your dog playing catch, or being careful and conscientious with an older pet -- all you have to do is ask. I work from home and I love taking walks around my neighborhood where there are trails and fields to romp around in. I am also an early-riser as these are my most productive hours, so getting up to exercise, feed, or simply pay attention to your pet is no problem. Throughout the past 15 years, I have experience house-sitting for family friends and neighbors and taking care of pets that couldn't go along with them on vacation. As part of a house-sitting service, I know that maintaining gardens and plants is tough, so I am always happy to help in that area as well as any other around-the-house duties.

Angela was wonderful. We have four Irish Wolfhounds and went to Europe for 3 weeks. Angela took great care of them (and our chickens). They and the house were in excellent condition when we returned. One of our dogs had a minor medical issue, and Angela contacted us and worked through the issue. She took the dog to the vet and gave her the prescribed medication until we returned. We definitely would (and will) hire Angela again when we are out of town. We gave her 5 stars!
This is the second time Angela has stayed at our house to watch our dogs while on vacation. She is excellent! It makes us enjoy vacation so much more knowing there is a responsible, caring person at home taking care of our pets. We came home to a clean house, happy dogs and a very kind note. We will be hiring her again! Thank you Angela!

Is your pet on a flea and tick prevention plan? As I have an indoor cat, it is important to me to keep him healthy as well by not bringing fleas or ticks back to him!
A typical day
If you have preferred trails or paths that you and your pet go on together, I would be happy to stick with those. There are several great trails throughout the Nevada City area that are shaded and a great spot to get some energy out. I understand that keeping pets on a routine and schedule is important to many pet owners, and I am happy to stick as closely to that as I can! I am always happy to play fetch, throw a frisbee, go on a hike, run, walk, or swim in a lake....really anything! ------------------------------------------------------------- My House Sitting Services Include: --> All-inclusive + custom care for your pet --> Overnight Stay from the hours of 8PM - 8AM* *Moderately flexible as I understand pet routines vary, I will be happy to accommodate --> 2-3 Drop-in visits during the day time for potty + play breaks (on average, 30 minutes) --> Attentive to YOUR needs and your pets routine + I will match that as closely as possible --> Home care (taking trash out, getting the mail, watering plants, etc.) Not Included: Please note that I will not be staying at your home during every hour of the day. I also run my own business and meet clients and have meetings during the day time. As I do work from home for a portion of most days, I am happy to do this at your home and spend some quality time with your pets! Communication: I highly value properly communicating with you, so we can each know what to expect when I take care of your home + pets! Please message me if you have any questions, I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have, or to modify my above schedule to fit your needs. EXTRAS: *Do you have farm animals?
