A little about me: - I attended Cal Poly Pomona studying and taking classes in Animal Health Science - I have experience interning in a Veterinary Clinic - Life long passion for caring for all kinds of animals. - Experience and knowledge in pet food and diets - Experience with my own personal animals - OVER 15 years of experience in pet sitting and house sitting - While in Salinas, I volunteered at the Monterey County's huge SPCA facility - I currently own 2 dogs (German Shepherd & a small terrier mix), 2 guinea pigs, a bearded dragon and a Quarter Horse mare. ***************** Why you should hire me: - Educated and experienced with: dogs, cats, Horses, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and reptiles - I'm reliable, kind, energetic and HONEST - Willing to work with you and your pets needs - I’m comfortable giving medications - I'm available on weekends and holidays - I can stay overnight with your pets and watch over your home too - **I have many references and I have NO criminal background or history** - I have my own reliable transportation and a clean driving record - Personalized visits - I have a long list of references you may contact to verify my quality of care - Most importantly, I will treat your animals and your home with the respect and love that I give my own home and animals. - I offer quality, loving one-on-one pet care. ***************** Benefits of having at home pet care: -No stress for you or your pet from dropping them off at a crowded doggie day care that could be full of fleas and loud noises, or a veterinary office in which your pet is confined to a small cage and has a higher chance of getting sick with something like kennel cough. - No possibility that your pet may be attacked at one of the kennels - Your pet/pets gets all of the love, attention and care they deserve - Older animals do better at home in a safe environment. -RATES- Here are some examples of my rates (Please keep in mind that these are the baseline rates. Other things will contribute to the cost such as number of animals, am I house sitting as well, does your pet require medications, am I providing extra exercise, and LOCATION as well ect. Every situation is different. Again these are just some, not ALL of my rates) - A daily check in to just let out a dog to potty and/or feed and get some attention/play time is 35.00$ a visit. (Add $5.00 for each additional dog). If you want to include a 45 minute walk then it is 40.00$ a visit (add 10.00$ for each additional dog). - For animal care, feeding (am & pm), 2 walks and house sitting (no overnight), I charge $60.00 a day. If you would like me to stay overnight, I charge $70.00for each day I’m there. For 2 dogs I charge $80.00. - To feed cats, and spend some time with them, I charge $20.00 per visit (depending on location). I am completely willing to work out special rates with you. There are so many different combinations of pet care and pet needs that I'm willing to work with you to find an appropriate rate for whatever it is you need and are looking for. I do a FREE first 'Meet & Greet'. This is when we set up a time for me to come out and meet you and your pets so you can get to know me a bit and make sure that I'm exactly what you are looking for. I want you and your pets to be and feel completely comfortable with me. If you would like me to come out a second time, I do charge a $35 fee.
