Our big pit/boxer mix gets a lot of anxiety when we leave town. Which gives us anxiety to leave him! But leaving him with Angela was the perfect choice. She was able to manage his anxiety while we were away, and take care of our dog the way that we would. I highly recommend Angela for any of your boarding needs! We will definitely be using her again. Hi my name is Alenna and I am happy to write Angela a testimonial vouching for her above and beyond excellent care for my young dog Pema last summer! Angela Henderson watched my dog "Pema Dawn" for over a month this summer while I was receiving medical care far from home. While I was away not only did Angela make sure that Pema had her daily essentials: water, food, shelter and the ability to go outside to potty multiples times during the day/night, but she committed herself to supporting my dog emotionally while as I was away. Pema has separation anxiety and tends to act out in different ways when separated from me, she can be quiet a handful and Angela not only meet her needs, as I said before, but she bonded with Pema, comforted her, took her out to be social with other dogs to cheer her up and communicated with me about how she was doing by sending me pictures/updates via email/texts as requested, because she knew how worried I was and how much I missed her, which was above and beyond. Angela consistently adjusted her daily schedule to meet the needs of my Pema by: taking her to dog parks, on long hikes, outdoor adventures, multiple walks per day, road trips, and daily "chuck-it" throwing adventures to wear her out, she even took her swimming at the beach on the hot sunny days of early summer, which I had told her was Pema's favorite activity! Angela is an extremely active person, who takes daily walks/hikes herself which makes her an exceptional caregiver for dogs of all diversified needs. Not only is she active, immensely responsible, cautious, but she is empathetic, compassionate and deeply loving towards all dogs with a variety of care, and social/emotional needs. Angela was responsible for giving Pema a shot, as well as continued oral medication to complete her necessary vaccinations while I was away and she did this with ease, very responsibly, and communicated with me about the fact that it completed within the time zone recommended by the vet. Pema also has uncontrollable digestive issues at times, which Angela managed throughout the month. My dog is a very high energy, emotionally needy, often overly physically loving, jumping, in need of close constant contact, couch and bed hogging, big breed, young immature dog, haha!...and Angela not only meet all of her daily survival/physical and emotional needs but she created a connection with Pema that made her feel cared for, loved, relaxed, happy, and secure during my long period away from her. My dog was in exceptional condition when I finally picked her up to come home. I trust Angela completely and would be happy to leave my dog with her for any period of time in the future, she is an exceptional caregiver for dogs and I'm sure animals of any kind.
