Animals have been in my family from a young age and I have been caring for pets in some way, shape or form my entire life. I have worked with all types of animals as an animal caregiver, doggy daycare attendant, certified foster parent, and am currently a proud mama to two loving dogs and an amazing cat! I enjoy keeping current on training techniques so that I can raise well-mannered pets and also learn as much as possible about habits, health and wellness. My background has put me in intense situations and I have a wealth of experience controlling and de-escalating stressful situations. Many of my clients are new to Colorado and don’t have close friends or family that they can rely on when they’re busy or out of town. I see myself as an extension of their family and can be relied on to save the day in a pinch! As a pet sitter, I am dependable, trustworthy and protective—and I make sure I follow my clients’ instructions precisely so that the animals’ schedules, routines and activities remain consistent while they’re are away. My goal is to make sure my clients and their pets are as comfortable as possible by creating a calm, positive environment…and I’m really good at it! I connect with my clients’ pups by getting down on their level and taking it slow, if necessary. Playing a game or throwing a ball around is usually a great way to introduce myself to show that I’m someone who’s fun, engaged and can be trusted. I provide substantial walks, multiple potty breaks and photo updates throughout the day so my clients can see firsthand how well their pet is doing when in my care!
