We are a family of 4. Our 2 kids are 13 and 15. We live about 2 1/2 miles from the Urbana Villages. Our dog died at 14 years old, a few years ago. We have not adopted another pet since. We would love to have some time enjoying dogs and caring for them. I work from home We have 5 acres; plenty of room to take the dog for a walk. We would likely put a blanket on a sofa if your dog is accustomed to sitting on one at home. If your dog is not supposed to sit on furniture, I will try to keep that rule in our home. Thank you for this opportunity! We have no pets at all in our house. If you have more than 1 dog, we may be able to watch both. We are just leery of having dogs from different families together. Angela took care of our one year old very active puppy while we were away on vacation. I had never left him with anyone before . As soon as I met Angela on our meet and greet I felt at ease and knew Wallace would be well cared for. I couldn’t be more happy with the care he got . Angela sent me photos and updates everyday . In every photo I could tell Wallace was very happy . Wallace developed a ear infection whilst we were away , Angela picked up on it right away , got him to the vet and treated . I was so thankful that she noticed this and got him the care he needed straight away . I couldn’t be more happy with how he was looked after . I would highly recommend Angela and family to anyone who is looking for dog care . Fantastic experience . Happy owner and happy dog ! 5 stars for sure
Angela was WONDERFUL! We were nervous parents of a geriatric dog, Angela made us BOTH feel comfortable, texted us, sent pictures- got our pet to warm up to her and have a LOVELY time! She gave her meds twice a day, took her on LOTS of leash walks, and even moved her bed into her room at night. I cannot express how relieved we were to find someone to care for her as we do. We feel we can take trips if we need to that cannot include our pup- since we have someone we can trust! Thank you Angela! You are a blessing!
Angela was great and easy to deal with. She is knowledgeable about dogs and made us feel at ease about having our dog stay with her. She updated us regularly and was very responsive. We will definitely be booking her again!
Angela and her family are amazing. They took a very great care of our dog while we were away for a long vacation. Angela is very responsive to all our questions and sent us updates with pictures regularly. We had peace of mind while on vacation since we could see that our dog was happy, well taken care of, and well loved while at her house. Do they chew on things? Do they need medication? What is their favorite playtime activity? Where do they typically sleep overnight? Can they go to parks on a leash? Do they have any food allergies? We often have dog treats available. I know human CPR, but have never learned dog CPR
A typical day
We can play fetch with the dogs or chase in the house. There is plenty of room for long walks. We have experience with collars that vibrate or make a sound… which allows the dogs to be off a leash if the owner feels comfortable with that.

I work at home, so will be with the dogs most of the time. We have nice walking paths close by. Dog’s are allowed on a designated sofa, if that’s okay with the owners.
