I have known Angela for 11 years now. I was always amazed at her attention to her two dogs. She cared deeply for them and was always empathetic to them. Angela is organized and highly capable of being a dog sitter. She is already great as a school teacher!
Yes, pets are part of the family!
In a nutshell, my dogs were my children for years. I totally get it - I was the obsessive mama who made checklists for my pet sitters, with detailed instructions going into full depth about each one of their personalities, quirks, preferences, routines, favorite foods, toys and games, their fears and anxieties. My babies are long gone but lived to a ripe age of 18 and 13. I miss being around my dogs and want nothing ...
What Angela would like to know about your dog
It would be helpful to know what they are used to on a daily basis, i.e. their diet, routine, things that are familiar to them. Of course, their medical history is a must, particularly if they are older, or arthritic or depend on medications. I know how important that is. I love HUGE dogs personally, but the little guys are special too. Shepherds are my first love, I will admit. They are one step away from talking - though call me crazy, I had a lab that could bark "I love you" - no joke!
