Pet care experience
In high school I worked as an aid for dog agility training. I also worked as an aid in dog behavior and public access training courses. I have experience with special needs dogs, as well as young puppies and large dogs. I used to house sit in collage and did it for several years. I am also experienced working with and training rescues and abused dogs. I am also in the process of training one of my dogs as a service dog and the other as a therapy dog. I love spending time with dogs and helping them burn energy and stay stimulated and happy. I rely on positive reinforcement for my training practices.

Angela and Nathan and their two pups were exceptional with my high energy pup. They started with introductions to get the chaotic excitement out of the way before introducing her to their living space. They took her to the dog park daily and sent plenty of pics. They went the extra mile to work on some training issues with her, as well. They show a genuine love for dogs and their responsible care. Izzy and I would love to have the opportunity to see them again!

I have two fur babies that love new friends to help me take care of your baby while you are away. I live in a dog friendly apartment, but we spend most of our time out at dog parks or on hikes. We use the house for recuperation and relaxation. My car is lined with all weather gear and is dog prepared. I even cart treats and water for our furry friends.

I love all breeds of dog and enjoy individual personalities. I want to know how they get along with other dogs, what their background is, and what their eating habits are, and any food allergies, before I meet them. I love to uncover other aspects of their personality as we go!
A typical day
I like to take the dogs to Willis Tucker dog park. On one side of the park it is a 1/4 acre of wooded space where dogs can play and socialize freely. It also has a mile long enclosed hiking trail that is wonderful to go on with my 4 legged friends. So the puppies can go on safe adventures and I can get a good walk in! I also live near a nature preserve that has paved walking paths (and ducks) for older or younger dogs that are not up for the dog park.

Availability
I work as a substitute teacher. I am available during school breaks, and I also have time throughout the week when I have not picked up any shifts that I can spend with furry friends. I spend my evenings at the dog park and my weekends at dog friendly hikes regardless of the weather!
