Pet care experience
Evan and I have had dogs for our whole lives, and we currently have a 5 year old lab. We've been dogsitters and catsitters for many years and can handle dogs of all sizes. Evan used to house sit and has cared for frogs, lizards, a tortoise, and dogs. I've had gerbils and cats as well. Evan works from home full time, so your pet will have someone always around. We attend to pets needs throughout the day and are very attentive. We are extremely active and love the outdoors. We have a 1 acre fenced yard with 6 foot fencing. We are able to follow your instructions closely on how to care for your pet. We don't allow dogs in bed with us, but other than that we are very accommodating of your pets needs.

Evan and Angela took such great care of our dog! He's a super active border collie/lab mix who requires daily running/playtime and they made sure to play fetch with him, take him for hikes, and give him plenty of time outside. Their backyard is a large open space and our dog was in heaven there! We appreciated the daily photos and updates and felt completely at ease while we were away.
Angela and Evan took wonderful care of our pup while we were on vacation. We got lots of photos and updates and could tell that Finch was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely book with them again!

We will always be there to supervise outdoor time, and keep dogs separated during feeding times for their own comfort. If we must leave at any time, we will separate the dogs to minimize chances of incidents. If you are a first time client, we would need to meet your dog ahead of the scheduled dogsitting date to make sure they get along with our dog. Thanks for understanding.

Your pet must be okay with large dogs. A dog that displays any type of aggression will not be accepted. Your dog must have prior experience with dogsitters. No stays over 5 days unless you are a repeat client, or if we can get your dog acclimated to us prior to the stay. Please let me know if we should enforce any rules or do any training while your pet is here, as well as your usual feeding and exercise schedule.
A typical day
We go for walks often, and on the weekends we go for hikes in the nearby woods. We also like to play fetch in the yard.

Pet care is a central part of our lives. We take dogs outside every 4 hours or so for some play time or a walk. In the evenings we snuggle with them and relax.
