I grew up in a house full of pets and continued into adulthood. I've cared for dogs of many breeds (German Shepherd, Aussies, lab, basset hound), all rescues and all lived long healthy lives-and so I have extensive experience with senior and medical care. I love adventuring with dogs (whether it's a long hike or short but spirited sniff) as well as cuddling at home. I am a behavior analyst and though I work with humans, this means I understand the basics of dog training like positive reinforcement. Your dog will be treated like family, because that's how I see pets. I believe a pet should be able to move about the home freely and go wherever they are comfortable. Your pet is welcome anywhere in my home, but I will respect any rules you have (e. g. no dogs on the bed). I live in an apartment but we have an enclosed courtyard (cement), plenty of blocks for walks and a park down the street.
