I have a lifelong love of dogs and have been taking care of them since I was 10 years old, house sitting for family friends and walking dogs in the neighborhood. I have volunteered at local dog shelters for the past two years, giving the dogs exercise and teaching them basic commands and manners. I also fed them and administered meds. I have gotten great experience this way with all types of dogs and different breeds anywhere from Chihuahuas and Shih Tzus to German Shepherds and Great Pyrenees. I welcome high energy and working breeds and would love to give them the exercise they need! I also have experience walking and taking care of giant breeds, as I spent some time volunteering at a Great Pyrenees shelter.

When Angela came to E.A.R.S. Dog Rescue it was evident she has a passion for dogs. She was able to connect so easily with our rescues through showing compassion, relieving their anxiety with exercise, and building their confidence through training. Being a small rescue we heavily depend on devoted volunteers and require a weekly commitment. Angela took this responsibility seriously and was very reliable. Through her dedication and skill set it was an easy decision to promote her to Lead Volunteer. In this position she managed a team of volunteers. Her responsibilities included the distribution of food and medicine to our rescues, training new volunteers, overseeing that volunteers were following safety protocols on and off the rescue premises, and communicating any concerns with other Leads and our Director. Angela is such an amazing person! I had the privilege of working with Angela while we both volunteered at a local dog rescue and sanctuary in Odessa, FL. Angela always had a can-do attitude. I looked forward to working with Angela. Anytime I needed help for a shift, I always hoped that she would be the person coming to lend a hand. I would often tell Angela that she was a dog-whisperer as all the dogs loved her and would listen to her. Angela loved every dog at the rescue. No matter what condition or attitude they came in with, she made sure they got the individual attention and care they needed. I would 110% recommend Angela to others for dog walking and dogs sitting. My pup Maya absolutely LOVES her. Angela is patient, caring, and respectful. I have seen Angela interact with multiple dogs and she is really good at reading a dog’s personality/mood and acting accordingly. From big dogs to small dogs, Angela can handle them all. I would trust Maya in Angela’s care anyday. Highly recommend!
Anyone would be lucky to have Angela walk their dogs. My dogs adore her and they’re not always the easiest to handle or get along with (both being quite a bit over 80lbs), but Angela always does it with ease. Before she relocated Angela was my go to for any dog watching/walking needs. She’s dealt with everything from walking, feeding and general care taking. She has a passion for making them feel at home when I’m not around. Frankly, I’m jealous you will get her services and I no longer do solely because of distance. She’s is punctual and loving, I guarantee you and your dog will love her as much as my dogs and I do.

Availability
I work remotely full time so I am available all day while I work to house sit and take care of your dog or cat. Also I can walk or drop in to play with dogs or cats for about an hour or two a day during the day or in the evenings. I am also free on the weekends to house sit, walk dogs and do drop-ins.
