Experienced dog lover!
Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover my whole life, in fact, my first word was dog. I begged my parents for a dog since I could talk, and still remember over hearing a voicemail when I was a kid indicating our dog was ready to be picked up. I honestly can still remember the joy and happiness of that very moment. When I was about 8 years old, my neighbors dog had a litter of puppies. Unfortunately, one of the puppies did not survive, and the mother dog had to have emergency surgery. The puppies were left without their mother for a few days, but I went over to my neighbors every morning before the school bus to bottle feed each puppy. I loved every second of it. On my walk home from the school bus, I stopped at their house again to feed the puppies. Our rescue dog at the time did not like other dogs due to her previous abusive home situation, so I was heartbroken when I could not adopt one of the puppies. However, all puppies lived locally where I grew up, and one specific family relied on my for 12 years to watch after the dog while they were away. All through college I would volunteer at a local animal shelter, by walking the dogs available for adoption. I fell in love with all the dogs I walked of course, and enjoyed every volunteered minute doing it. My husband and I have also done pilots n paws trips to rescue puppies that needed to be flown to their forever homes. I even have fostered a few puppies after a flight if their new families were not able to pick up the puppies immediately. I currently have 2 dogs; Rory a rescued catahoula/boxer mix, and Piper a GSP. I love both of them so much, in fact both dogs have traveled part of the US with us. Rory has been to over 20 states, and Piper has been to about 12 states. I love taking our dogs on vacation with us if possible. They enjoy hiking, exploring, camping, and flying with us! I recently got married in 2019 and both dogs were in the wedding party. I also love taking pictures of my dogs, they have their own Instagram! I intend to take many pictures of your dog. I know how special dogs are to people, and will walk/watch all dogs as my own. I have experience with all size dogs, ranging from tiny 5 pound dogs, up to 160 pound dogs. I also love working with dogs; teaching them basic commands or cool tricks. I currently run with my GSP Piper a few days a week, so running with you dog wouldn’t be a problem. My family dog growing up suffered from hip dysplasia, so I am comfortable with lifting dogs that need help. He also needed bi-weekly shots which my sister/I would give him at home. He was a flat coat retriever mix, so I would give him a nice buzz cut for the summer. I can easily get an stubborn dog to take medication as well.
Reviews
Ang has always been an animal lover, and treats all dogs like her own family. Her dogs (my furry niece & nephew) live their best lives, with no shortage of daily fun activities, playtime, and love. She has experience owning and walking dogs of all sizes, and is very strong. Ang is also the most responsible person I know, and I would trust her any day to handle any and everything.

I have a large fenced in yard with a pool that your dog can go swimming in! I also have a separate fenced in dog run, specifically made for dogs. I am nearby local wooded trails, bike paths, and smithville if you wanted me to help with social behavior. My dogs are both friendly, but will bark at first. They tend to do better with dogs their size/smaller, unless proper handling or being off leash. I live at home with my husband (who is also a dog lover) as well as our two dogs.
