Going above & beyond for your pets
Pet care experience
My family has owned dogs of all sizes my entire life. I have helped train my sister's german shepherd and currently take him during the day by taking him on walks, playing mental enrichment games, and training. He doesn't like small kids or dogs and so I am constantly considering his environment while we are outside the house to ensure a good experience for him and others around us. My family's dog, our Vizsla, has an intense sound phobia and so I am familiar with working with dogs who require some extra care as well as medication management. I love all types of animals and can't wait to get to know the furry members of your family!
Reviews
Excellent planning and communication, pets were happy and the house looked great on our return. Would highly recommend Angel, and definitely hope to use her next time we're out of town.
Angel was great with our dog! She showed up on time and was super friendly. Our dog loved the walk and was exhausted when she came home. 10/10 would recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
I am comfortable with a variety of training and safety equipment such as a variety of harnesses and collars as well as crating and confining pets to smaller areas of the home. I am very conscientious of making sure that all instructions are followed to ensure that the pets in my care are safe and well taken care of. I am a very neat person and I will never allow your pet to have access to potentially dangerous items/foods. I am aware that each dog's needs are unique and what works for my family's pets might not work for yours!
Information Angel W. would like to know about your pet
Some of the things that I will want to know about your dog include, knowing any fears, any favorite toys/activities, what their normal routine is, what the house rules are (allowed on furniture, only in certain rooms, etc), any special treats that are allowed, any allergies, etc. I will also want to know what you typically use when walking your dog (any special harnesses/collars/etc.) and how your dog reacts to various things on walks (such as squirrels/other dogs/cars/etc). Basically, I want to become as knowledgeable about your pets as possible so that I can give them the best care I can!
A typical day
My typical day with your pet will aim to be as close to your dog's best day with you as possible! When I meet you and your pet, I'll ask if you have any favorite activities to do with your dog and I will do as many of those things as possible! For example, if I was to spend the day caring for Thunder, my sister's German Shepherd, our day would start with some enrichment with breakfast in a puzzle feeder, a long walk in the woods, and maybe a trip to Starbucks to get a pup cup! For Echo, my dog, our day would be centered around snuggling on the couch.

Availability
I am a barista at Starbucks and typically work 5-12 pm, 3-4 days per week. This schedule allows me to be flexible to meet the needs of your family. If your pet requires more frequent attention, with enough notice I can rearrange my work schedule as needed.
