Anyone that knows me would agree, I am an all animal lover! Ever since I was a child I have been drawn to animals and have had the pleasure of sharing my life with many cats, dogs, horses and small animals over the past 30 years. My love of animals led me to fostering for a local animal rescue; I have housed many pets while waiting for to their forever families to find them. My experiences with the rescue animals, who often have their own very specific challenges, has given me a unique skill set. I am familiar with the care of dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, behavior challenges and medical needs. Have a puppy that is still house training, a medical issue requiring oral medication or injections? No problem! When your pet is in my care you can rest easy that they will be safe, well loved and cared for! I have 2 beloved rescue dogs: Jaden a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix and Mandy a 5-year-old Lab/Pit mix. I have 2 cats, a tiny 10-year-old cat, Millie, affectionately known as Baby Cat and 1-year-old Remi. As you can imagine all my pets are very friendly with other animals and can make new animals feel at home in their new environment quickly. Whether your pet is looking for a fun time or a place to relax my fur babies will make them feel right at home! Additionally, I have around 30 chickens and 3 horses- Gamble, Poncho and Ezzie. The farm animals are usually great entertainment for visitors! I work a full-time job during the week, however I work from home 2-3 days per work week and have weekends off. My adult daughter lives with me and is available most days for a mid-day potty break if needed. Your pets will receive plenty of loving attention and the care they need while you are away! While you are away your pup will enjoy supervised play time with my friendly dogs. We have a large puppy pool, with a slide, that my fur babies love to splash in on warm days which will be available to yours as well. On really hot days we like to bob for ice cubes! If your pet prefers taking walks for exercise, I live on a large property with lots of hiking trails and a quiet neighborhood nearby. My home is particularly conducive to pets that have trouble getting around, as there are no stairs to climb, only one step in and out of the house. Each pet in my care will have a separate space for eating, sleeping and while I’m away. No matter what special needs your pup has we can accommodate!
