My love & dedication towards (what society refers to them as) pets started back when I was the age of 7 years old. At that age, I was first introduced to caring for my first “pet” then & it was an Orange/Black/White, Male, Betta Fish my mom purchased from a Pet Supply Plus store. I named him Nemo & loved learning how to care for him. Growing up around this age up to the age of Ten years old, in a single-parent home with my mom, little brother, & little sister, I was always a true “Mommy’s Little Helper” with the biggest heart, My mom noticed my love for animals whenever I would ask for over ten-million questions about Squirrels I would spot, Birds, Stray Fur-Babies, whatever animal I would lay my little peepers on, a question was in no time out of my Food Hole. At Eleven years of age, I started growing a dedication towards providing care & helpful nutrients of TLC to orphaned animals I would find around my neighborhood. My mom never complained of this outloud (or at least not around me), but would lend whatever necessary helping hand she was able to provide while still doing what she had to do to raise & care for three children. Throughout the remainder of my slowly dying childhood going into my nerve-wrecking, confusing teenage years even up till my now years of “Adulting,” I continue to have a deep, growing, undeniable, passion for caring for animals, whether they are my very own furry children or other’s, the soft spotted section of my heart continues to treat them all the same regardless of Species and/or Breed. Whether those of you reviewing my page right now believe what I am posting or not, the best way of me explaining my connection towards animals, in words, would be that when I am with animals, I have a calming, positive, upbeat Aura that washes over the negativity energy in the room.
