I am a resident pediatrician in Norfolk who loves all animals but especially dogs! I have a pet-friendly apartment in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk. I love spending weekends outdoors and would be happy to go play at a park with your pooch or spend a relaxing night in if your dog needs some R&R too. I became interested in Rover during med school after helping friends dog-sit when they were away on weekends. It was so fun that I thought, why not try do this on a more regular basis? I will be home *all day* on the days listed on my calendar. As an animal-lover, Rover is something I truly enjoy doing on days off. I live in an apartment located in the heart of Ghent just minutes from Botetourt Gardens. If your pooch needs some active outdoor time to feel the grass beneath his or her feet, I'd be more than happy to play with them outside for a good chunk of the day. I carry a collapsible water bowl with me on walks to ensure your pup is well-hydrated and pay attention to cues he or she might be getting tired -- making sure a dog is safe, healthy, and comfortable is my top priority :) Rest assured that your dog will be in caring hands!
