Hi, my name is Angela! I am a recent graduate of Rutgers University with a BS in Animal Science. I plan on going into the veterinary field and have a lot of experience working with small and large animals. I have also worked as a veterinary nurse at two local veterinary hospitals. I truly love animals and am very passionate about caring for them. I spent a month studying abroad in Belize, learning about veterinary medicine and treating local animals. I have the skills and knowledge to care for animals with special needs, like my dog Diesel who is diabetic and blind. Diesel is very friendly but since he’s nearly 12 years old now, he enjoys resting most of the day. He was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus in 2015 and I have been routinely administering insulin injections to him. I am comfortable administering insulin injections and giving medications to animals as required. I also have a cat, Roman who will be turning 5 in August. He was a ferrel kitten when he found his forever home with us-his is a bit feisty, but has warmed up to us overtime. I work 8:00-4:00 Monday through Friday. I am no longer offering services in the afternoon. I updated my calendar as frequently as possible. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies in your absence, and will provide them with the love and care needed. IMPORTANT: please create a profile for each animal in your household (and any other pet) that needs care. Please include ferrets, birds, hamster, rabbits, etc. Care rate for additional pets (other than dog or cat) will be provided to you.
