My name is Anett, and I'm absolutely a dog lover! I have a double Bachelor's University degree in Environmental Studies and Geography, as well as a minor in Public Administration. I have had dog companions in my home for the past 20 years. I currently have a dog that I love so dearly - my best friend. I also have 6 months of professional dog walking experience in the Chicago-land area employed by professional dog walking companies. I have been professionally trained. I am now looking to work more independently as a dog walker. In my career I have walked about 30 different dogs - various dog breeds, ages (from puppies to senior dogs), sizes, temperments, personalities, athletic abilities (from slow-paced to fast-paced). I've enjoyed spending time with all them in their own unique way. I have also cared for many of my friend's and families dog companions - including dog-walking and boarding. I see dogs as members of families, not just an animal to be cared for. I have had a close connection with all animals, since I was a young child. I see them as amazing unique individuals with their own personalities, friendships, interests, emotions, desires, needs, quirks, schedules, behaviors, and worthiness. Dogs are fascinating and intelligent animals that I respect and honor. I tend to have a strong sense of what they need and are asking for. My emotional intelligence, playfullness, maturity, and wisdom has kept me in close connection with nature and animals throughout my life. I enjoy taking care of others. I'm a wilderness girl at heart that does not fear animals. I love the outdoors and adventuring in new neighborhoods with dog companions. I'm also very careful and cautious when caring for pets, I take necessary precautions. Every dog I have spent time with has enjoyed my company and fun activites I offer. I love to play with dogs and I also respect when they don't want to play. I can care for small and large dogs. I enjoy actively walking dogs in parks and areas with more nature that they will enjoy. If there isn't much around, then I make sure to make the most of the walk. I am adaptable to the dog's level of activity. If I need to slow down I will, and if I need to speed up with more strength I will do that as well. I have a lot of energy and great fitness. I know how to care for sick dogs and dogs with disabilities. I am responsible with feeding and dog walking when needed and when asked for by the dog companion. I am very responsible with my schedule and arrive on time. I am great with communication and very well versed with the rover app and technology in general. I am a very trustworthy, responsible, wise, caring, kind, and honest person. I am currently at home full time and I have a car. I have a lot of time available to provide dog care services. My schedule is pretty flexible. Some days I may not be available, but that is on rare occasion. I will let you know which days will work for me when you contact me.
