Yes very well, but smaller kids may get knocked down if you don’t attend to dog/kid interactions, because Che might try to give them one of his world famous hugs, which are adorable but don’t always come with advance warning.
- Gets along with other dogs: Yes
As long as he isn’t in a very crowded dog park where multiple Alpha dogs will try to dominate him simultaneously, Che is incredibly happy getting to know and playing with other dogs. You’ll know when he’s scared; he doesn’t get aggressive or bark, but you’ll just see his tail stop wagging and go between his legs, him lie down, and maybe pee on himself out of fear :(. If you avoid super crowded doggie places like the Schuylkill River dog park, then he’ll be fine. Thing is, he’ll ALWAYS be excited to first go to one regardless of how many dogs sre there, so just being aware of his temperament and knowing which situations to avoid will go a long way in helping him stay happy.
- Gets along with cats: Yes
He wants to play with them curiously.
Che is funny about going out-Specifically, he pee’s like a girl(squats vs lifting leg, and he NEVER will mark his territory. He tends to take a little while finding the perfect spot to go. Grass is best/easiest, but if he doesn’t have access to that, dirt, piles of leaves, snow, or any other organic non-concrete feeling area is good. If you only take him to concrete or asphault, he may not pee. Just a heads up there.
