I am a born dog lover! I adore my two miniature dachshunds, Lola (10) and Scooby (7) I have been around dogs my entire life. I have tons of family and friends that have dogs that I get to board and puppy-sit often. Seriously, when we take family pictures we usually have more dogs than people! I love taking care of different sizes and breeds of dogs. For example, I watch my sisters's St. Bernard and friends miniature dachshunds. I am flexible and love to help when last minute things come up in everyday life. I live in a safe, dog-friendly neighborhood in Waukee. I have a large, fenced in yard that provides even large dogs the freedom to run. I will treat your dog like family while they stay with here, so you can enjoy a stress free relaxed get-away! I am compassionate, competent, and a reliable dog lover that would love to help you and your dogs out whenever you need!

Our dog Louie had a great time with Ashley!! He was happy and healthy when we picked him up and very tired out from playing with the other dogs!!!
Ashley was wonderful! Our dogs settled in immediately and you could tell were very comfortable in her home. She kindly sent us some photos during their stay, and they were great when we picked them up. We would definitely use her again!
Ashley and Evan took such great care of Bailey. Bailey had so much fun with all the dogs and came home tired and happy! We had travel delays galore, and Ashley was so accommodating and it was so nice to know that Bailey was in such good hands! Thank you!

If your dog has ever had aggressive tendencies, please let me know beforehand so I can take necessary precautions.
A typical day
I have a large fenced in yard that gives the dogs tons of room to play. There is also a park one block from our home that we walk through and play at. Your dog will always be on a leash while at the park or on a walk. Plus, they will never need to play alone since Lola and Scooby will always be around!
