Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Andrew and I'm a TV writer, which means when I'm on hiatus (like I am now) I have a lot of free time to spend with man's (or woman's) best friend. I've lived with dogs for much of my life, often with more than one at a time. I have had several regular petsitting gigs over the years that have included the standard stuff like walking, feeding and of course some play time. I've also comfortably handled a few pet emergencies including an incident with a skunk and a late night trip to the vet - all handled with ease and resolved quickly. You can rest assured that your beloved pet will be sufficiently entertained and cared for at all times.

I have known Andrew for over 15 years and he has always been an advocate for animals. He is a very reliable and responsible friend and pet owner who has a huge heart and passion for making sure every pet feels loved and cared for. I have seen him interact with his cats and dogs over the years (as well as other people's pets) and he has a lot of fun giving them attention and playing with them. Andrew makes sure that the pets needs are always a priority - such as feeding them, taking them outside, taking them on walks, etc. I wouldn't hesitate having him care for my dog, who is basically my child, and I would be confident that my dog is in good hands with Andrew taking care of her.

I love all breeds - I have yet to meet one I don't appreciate. I like to know anything about a dog's personality that will affect how I care for him or her. If there are things that dog likes or doesn't like, I can cater my services to that. A happy dog is a good dog!
A typical day
I'm outdoorsy which includes marathons and plenty of hiking, so if your dog is up for some exercise I'm ready! I enjoy the trails around Los Angeles and have found that dogs appreciate some time in the sun too. I live near a large dog park, so if your buddy is looking to interact with some other dogs, that's a great place to do it. On the other hand I also work from my laptop, so if some relaxing human companionship is all that's required, well, you've found your relaxed human.
