I currently am raising my own dog, Honey (Instagram: Honey_The_Ridgeback), a Rhodesian Ridgeback who is 8 months old, but have been helping raise dogs since college. Due to the flexibility of my job, Honey and I normally go to the dog park once a day for a couple hours to get her energy out. Our favorite locations are Dogwood Park and Tillie K. Fowler. I only work about 10 hours a week if that, as I am on a as-needed basis. Often times, I do watch other friends' dogs when they leave for the weekend because I normally stay local so I'm venturing out through Rover now. I do live in a house with a fenced in backyard so there is room to run. I am a long-distance runner, and hope that someday, I Honey can keep me company on my runs. I am guilty of spoiling my dog, but I think it is all worth it in the end.
