Pet care experience
My name is Andrew, I have a degree in biology from UCSB, I'm now in my first year of nursing school, and I would love to walk your dog! My class schedule allows me a lot of flexibility, and I'm free most days other than Tuesdays and Thursdays from ~12:30-3:30. I grew up talking care of my two dogs, Zoe and Zack, but since moving away from home I've missed regularly interacting with dogs. My pet care experience comes from taking care of them for a significant period of my life and I have a solid understanding of all the basics of pet care. I've also dogsat for many of my friends and have become their go-to when they leave town. If there are any special instructions for your dog I'm sure I can accommodate them. Additionally, I volunteered at my local animal rescue foundation for many years and worked as an EMT for over a year. Please contact me for more information.

Everytime I go out of town, Andrew is my go to dog-sitter. He is very caring and pays attention to detail with my dog. Since my dog is a French Bulldog, he requires a lot of love and attention and Andrew always provides and makes him feel loved when I am out of town. I will only let Andrew walk and take care of my dog because he is the bomb!!
Andrew takes care of my miniature schnauzer, Gemma. Gemma is energetic ball of fun who loves to go adventures. Sometimes Andrew will take her on hikes and send me photos of her on different trails. I'm glad I've found a walker who enjoys the outdoors as much as my dog. Gemma has diabetes. Andrew follows my instructions and administers her insulin shots at the appropriate times. I can tell he really cares about the wellbeing of my pet.
Andrew watched my German Shepherd mix (Sherman) last year while I was out of town. He did an amazing job and was able to adhere to all of Sherman’s needs. Sherman requires a special diet and Andrew had no problem ensuring that all of Sherman’s dietary requirements were met. Andrew will also periodically walk Sherman if I am to busy to do so. Sherman absolutely loves Andrew and goes crazy with excitement every time he walks into our apartment. I would highly recommend Andrew for the position he is a responsible and caring person who loves all animals.
