Dogs have always been a part of my life. I have been a dog sitter through Rover for more than five years. I worked as a dog walker for nearly a decade. I’m probably better at communicating with animals than with people, to be honest. I have a lot of experience with old dogs, dogs with special needs, and dogs with physical disabilities. I can administer oral and subcutaneous medicine.

Andrew gave my very excited (and chaotic) puppy two walks this week. I can tell by the introduction interactions that Andrew is highly knowledgeable with dog walking (and perhaps training!!). I am relieved to have found someone that is trustworthy and communicative.

Andrew was a lifesaver. I’m an anxious dog mom who was leaving for an international trip over Christmas and Andrew put my mind at ease. My dog has some stranger danger and it took some time to get her comfortable b it andrew was incredibly patient, kind, and full of knowledge re: dog behavior so the adjustment was quick and he got her comfortable in no time! I do my best to learn everything I can about your pet’s daily life so there is as little variation as possible while you’re away. I will ask you so many questions and I will always address any questions/concerns you have. Many pet parents ask for two or three photos a day and I’m more than happy to oblige!

Please let me know if your dog is not always friendly with other dogs, has separation anxiety, has poor table manners, or a history of bathroom accidents so I can properly accommodate them.
A typical day
I’m usually up fairly early. My schedule will revolve around your pet’s schedule as much as possible— if your cat wants to play with the laser pointer for an hour everyday, if your dog loves playing with other dogs in the park, that’s what we’ll do. Any time I’m not directly interacting with your dog/cat I’ll mostly spend working (writing) at the kitchen table or in the living room.

I work from home so I will likely spend most of my day in the same room as your dog. With brief excursions to walk other dogs & visit other cats.
