I’ve had dogs involved in my daily life in some capacity from the age of 8 onward. Whether raising my own, sitting for my neighbors, or rescuing runaways on the side of the road, I’ve always taken special attention in how I’ve cared for dogs. I’m excited to have one of my own in the near future when roommates are no longer a factor in my living situation and I can provide a four-legged friend the life it deserves.

Temperament, bathroom habits, and other idiosyncrasies are important to have a heads up on. Does the dog get defensive around other dogs or humans? Will he or she try to yank my arm out of the socket when we go for a walk? These are all manageable things, but it helps to know in advance.

Walks are a given, but I also like taking dogs to off leash dog parks, given permission by the owner, and allowing the dog to run free and fetch and play. I

Availability
I work fully remote and can set up anywhere, and don’t have many obligations outside of my work schedule. Even on days where I do have other engagements or obligations, I’m generally able to disengage from them quickly if needed.
