Love to make pets feel welcomed and happy with individual needs from plenty of exercise and attention to calm and kindness for the shy guys. I’m always the guy in the friends group who watches pets while they’re away, including special needs dogs.

Andrew took excellent care of my lab/pit mix, Bella, over the holiday. It was her first time staying with him. He sent photo and video updates throughout the week and Bella was clearly enjoying herself!
This is the third time we have left our dog with Andrew and he took excellent care of him as always. When we got to the door, our dog ran in, excited to see Andrew and recognizing his place. It’s great to have someone so trustworthy to look after him. Andrew took him for his scheduled vet appointments which we really appreciated.
Andrew took great care of Munjee while we were out of town. He provided updates and shared pictures/videos. He was very flexible and worked with us on a couple of requests specific with our pup. His home and yard space was great. Without any hesitation, I will connect with Andrew again on future dog sitting requests. Thanks again!
Andy was really helpful when me and my wife needed to a dog watcher in a pinch. He made sure they were walked and cared for throughout the day and sent us pictures to keep us updated. All you can really ask for. Thank you ?

I have an open layout inside and a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to roam carefree. I also walk around the neighborhood and can go for longer walks through rock creek park if exercise is needed. Also have plenty of comfortable places for them to nap, toys to play with, and treats if the diet allows.

I mainly want to know if any diet restrictions, feeding habits, medications needed, any past injuries, particular activities they like, and if they’re friendly with other dogs. I’ve cared for old and senior dogs, and have a good idea to keep things out of harms way like food within reach or other hazards.
A typical day
I mostly get a feel for what they are interested in whether that’s playing with toys, tug of war, throwing ball. I like to keep their minds active with a toy trick I do to see if they can find it after I’ve hidden it. I also like to take them out in walks, sometimes to see the other dogs in the neighborhood if they are friendly. I have a fenced in yard for dogs that like to really run and play fetch. I’ll also jog with them and overall just talk and engage with them throughout the day.

I work from home and have not been ready to get a dog since mine passed so I have all space and equipment and experience to make your dog feel comfortable and enjoy their stay.
