I graduated from Deerfield High School in 2008 and from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. I spent four years working in the business world before deciding that I wanted to pursue my passion of working with dogs. Since April of this year, I have been working as a dog trainer and pet care provider at Root Dog Training in Highwood, Illinois. I started as an assistant under the owner and lead positive reinforcement trainer of the facility. I learned quickly and am currently the lead dog trainer for several positive reinforcement training classes at the facility, provide individual training sessions for clients at their home, walk dogs and provide overnight care in clients homes. The only dogs that I am unwilling to train are severe bite cases; otherwise, I do any kind of dog training, from basic obedience to loose leash walking to problem solving. I understand dog behavior, the psychology behind dog training and dog behavior, tendencies between breeds, etc. I currently live in Glencoe, Illinois.
