Pet care experience
Hi. Our names are Alice and Andrew, and we live with our two older golden retriever/lab mix brothers in a clean and sunny townhome. We have always had dogs and love them. We have a really large backyard for doggies to roam around in and dogs also have constant access via dog door to the patio. Andrew works from home at night and spends much of the day doing either work in his home office or doing projects around the house. We walk the neighborhood daily and go out back to run at least twice a day, usually 3 times. We frequently watch friends/relatives dogs because we have such a dog friendly home life. We treat any dog(s) in our care as our own, of course. Water is changed 3x day. We have a big car and usually bring the dogs with us on errands because they love it so much. We are very accommodating and look forward to meeting you!

We had a great stay!
Rocky had the best time with Alice, Andrew, Nathan, Jacob & Candy. They treated him as part of the family. It was the first time we left him with someone besides my family so I was a little nervous but I had no reason to be nervous. He loved every minute of his stay and even learned to climb the stairs. Thanks Alice & Andrew for taking care of our little guy!
Andrew and Alice are a fun dog loving couple, who have two beautiful Labradors of their own. They have watched my Beagle on several occasions, and are so patient and wonderful with him. Beagles are a great breed of dogs, but are notoriously stubborn and suffer from separation anxiety. It is NEVER easy to leave a beagle dog for a few days, let alone a few weeks. As a surgical nurse here in the bay area, I want to be able to get away for a nice long vacation here and there, to take a break from a stressful job and the caregiver role. It is reassuring to know that Andrew is out there to take great care of Baker beagle when I must travel, or just taking a nice break from the daily grind at the Medical center. I would recommend Andrew P. without hesitation to care for your own special canine, in or out of your home. Andrew & Alice are fun, loving and a very trustworthy team. I find that they hold natural training skills and a connection that dogs seem to enjoy. They learn how to read the canine personality, and the canines respond to that positive enthusiastic energy!
What a GREAT house and family for my Portuguese Water dog to stay for 2 days. Maggie seriously did not want to leave. Alice and Andrew are complete animal lovers!

We don't have any breed preferences. We love all dogs! Unfortunately we are not able to accept pitbulls or pitbull mixes. Wish we could. Before sitting we would just like to know it's energy level, diet any disabilities and sociability!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Around the neighborhood. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Where ever he/she wants. We encourage them to sleep in our bedroom but some dogs prefer to sleep downstairs or in the guest bedroom. Time I'll spend with your dog 90% of the time one of us is home. We like being around the dogs and the dogs like being around us. Occasionally, we have to run to the store but we aren't gone for more than an hour.

Why I love dog sitting We've both been dog lovers our whole lives. We grew up with various dogs, feeding, walking and playing with them. We've had Jacob and Nathan since they were puppies and they are now 12 1/2.
