I grew up with dogs and cats and love to be around animals. I understand that every animal is different and I will do what I can to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My partner and I currently have an English Shepard and Huskey mix with a bit of anxiety. Watching him embrace new experiences and warm up to new human friends (he loves all dogs) has been such a joy over the past few years. I have never worked for a pet service but I have second-hand experience helping my parents with a Prison Puppy Program where outstanding inmates train service dogs as part of their rehabilitation process. This requires hosting the pups (always a blast) so they may get as much experience outside the prison as possible. Back here in Seattle, our friends don't hesitate to ask me and my partner to take care of their dogs and cats while they're out of town. I'd love to take care of your little friend, even if it's just for a long walk.
