Growing up with dogs, cats, rats and other animals, I have developed a love and appreciation for taking care of pets. I have given many baths, taken numerous dogs for hundreds of walks, and have taken care of the pets of family members and friends!

Andrew is a past roommate of mine who helped me take care of my 6 year old border collie-corgi mix while I lived with him. He took amazing care of her and was a big help. He regularly went on 5+ mile runs with her and played with her while I was working. He is responsible, gentle, and patient with dogs and would be a great dog caregiver.
Andrew was phenomenal. I have a 3 year old red Fox lab/yellow lab mix, and I needed someone to look after him while I was on vacation. That’s where I found Andrew! I swear he took care of him better than even I could! Andrew was kind, friendly, prompt, and even went above and beyond by sending me photos of my dog! I had no worries while I was gone and would 100% ask for Andrew again!

I have a large fenced in yard that is wholly enclosed all the way around the house. I am happy to meet with clients beforehand to see exactly what they need. I like to know exactly what clients want me to do with their pet, and I always like to be aware of any issues or situations that are important to recognize when working with the client and their pet. I like to let clients know exactly when I have arrived, how everything went, and when I leave. My main goals when working with clients and their pets are the safety of the pet, being responsible, respectful, and communicating clearly. These four main tenants make me happy, my clients happy, and, of course, they make the pets happy 🐶

Does your dog chase cars, runners, or people on bikes? Is your pet prone to running off or "escaping"? Does your dog get nervous around people? Are they protective of certain things, like the house, couch, or specific rooms? Is your dog good with other dogs? Is there a specific way you want me to reward good behavior? How should I deal with bad behavior? Are there treats that you have that you want me to use when rewarding your pup? Is your pet allergic to anything? The more information, the better!
A typical day
I love long walks with your pooch! I love to run and if your dog does, too, let me know! I would go to the dog park with yours truly. I love walking on paths along the Mississippi River, and walking around the neighborhood is always fun. If I'm house sitting with your pooch, we'll probably kick back and watch a movie after a big walk. If your dog likes to be pet, I'll make sure they get the pets they deserve.

I work Monday-Friday 8:45AM-3:45PM. During the weekdays, I am available from 4PM-10:30PM. I am very flexible during the weekends as is needed. Let me know!
