Pet care experience
I am a very active pet lover. Pets deserve the attention and care that we as owners look for when allowing someone new to take care of our pets. I am engaging, animated, high energy, active, attentive, responsible and educated in how to discipline and care for a dog and cat. I have more than 8 years of experience with these animals I have myself and have walked and house-sat others as well. I have walked many dogs of various sizes for more than an hour in some cases, I can handle long walks if they can. I am a physics undergraduate at Cal Poly Pomona looking to earn some extra income. I do not cut corners and I do not mess around. Animals require the love and care humans need and deserve a trustworthy and educated individual to care for them.

Andrew was awesome!! We have multiple dogs and needed a sitter for the afternoon and he was game. He jumped right in and learned the different personalities, and they all took to him really well. After it was all done, I even had my neighbors say that they were impressed and that I had found the perfect pet sitter.
Andrew has an energetic and enthusiastic personality which matches well with caring for my dog. He’s always been punctual, polite, trustworthy and conscientious. My dog gets so excited when he sees Andrew coming to take him for a walk!

I’d like to know your pet’s name, breed and weight to give me an idea of who I’ll be working with. I do not have breed preferences, all pets are equal to me but the size/weight is important because that will determine how I may plan to interact with your pet.
A typical day
I prefer longer walks if the dog is capable and enjoying the experience. I personally enjoy an hour or more to walk to a local park and play around throwing a ball or playing tug-o-war, treating the walk more as a big activity. I understand many dogs cannot perform that much activity and for those I do my best to walk them to the nearest park via side streets to avoid noisy commute streets.
