MD born and raised, I recently moved back after living in Las Vegas for several years. I spent the better part of 2015 dog-sitting in Las Vegas with a Rover-experienced friend and neighbor. I would often coordinate anywhere from 3 to 6 dogs myself (whether house sitting, or having the dogs stay with me). Dogs seem to be naturally attracted to me. I treat dogs with full respect and allow them to be themselves which immediately gets them involved with me on a positive note. I live in a house with a large yard, and I am home 24/7 which allows me to devote 100% attention and care to your dog. My care philosophy is centered around the basic idea that routines are very important for dogs, as it allows them to feel a sense of normalcy and stability. I am very good at creating or adhering to existing walking and feeding schedules. By minimizing deviations from your pet's existing routine, I minimize potential anxiety for both owner and pet, especially in cases where emergencies arise and you must suddenly find pet care. I communicate to animals on an equal level, never "talking down" and always using positive reinforcement.
