Pet care experience
I have had a dog and taken care of many since I was a toddler. Personally raised a dog, Sally, for 19 years. Experience adopting, fostering and pet sitting. We are a couple that have a large 2 bedroom apartment with access to a private dog park on our complex. One of us is home full time, so we have plenty of time to take my dog and yours on frequent long walks through the park. Trips to dog parks, playtime always. Typically every 4 or 5 hours I am home to take pets on a walk through Brackenridge Park and along the Riverwalk. We do have a crate in home so am able to crate your pet if needed. We live near Brackenridge park so it’s a great place to walk in nature with your baby. Pets are allowed to roam free, and sleep on my bed. We have a basket of toys available so they can grab a toy to play with at anytime. We never accept more than 2 dogs as any 1 time. So including my dog that makes 3. We do not accept any non neutered male dogs. We also have kennels and separate rooms each area with their own water bowls. Whenever we leave the home we separate all dogs no matter how well behaved they are or how friendly they are with one another. Each dog will get a private walk with me, as well as a walk with another dog (if they get along). Finally, we have a security camera that links to my phone so we can always look in on them if we are not home.

Andrew did a wonderful job of taking care of our little girl Ella during her 11 day stay. Andrew sent pictures and updates of her visit. Ella enjoyed playing with Andrew's pup Angel and taking her daily walks. We highly recommend Andrew as a sitter for you fur babies.
Andrew was punctual and kind. Very easy to get to and close to the conference center.
I highly recommend Andrew! This was my first time using Rover and I was really nervous about leaving Max. We first had our pups meet to make sure there was some mutual likeablility, and they did! He was very honest and how and what he does to make your pet comfortable. He did give me updates and pictures while Max was with him although kept it simple and brief. He also went above and beyond when my schedule changed a bit. So yes I highly recommend Andrew and will be using him again.

We have a large crate in a separate bedroom to keep dogs apart if necessary when not home. We also have a large fenced in private dog park to allow pups to expend energy.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or any special attention they require during their stay. You are strongly urged to bring one or two of your pets favorite items; (bed,blanket,toys). You should also supply your pets own food giving me feeding instructions. (I supply plenty of bowls which are washed everyday). Any pet that arrives without food or if you are needing food, you will be charged and extra $5 per day to cover cost. I am pretty flexible and able to accommodate any doggie personality. It is extremely important you are upfront and honest about your dogs behavior and/or training or lack of. Typical potty accidents, small wear and tear from visits it’s expected. But any physical damage to property that results in major damage caused by your pup is your responsibility. Dog owners assume the responsibility of their pet and will be required to reimburse for any major damage. Also please let me know if your dog gets a long with other dogs, is able to handle dog parks and long walks. I do not accepts any dogs below age of 2, nor do I accept and male dogs that are not neutered.
A typical day
Typically I take dogs for a nice 20 minute walk through Brackenridge Park in the mornings, and evenings. We will also go for a longer 30 to 35 minute walk middle of the day around the Brackenridge Park area. Every other day or so, we will venture over to a large dog park near Pearl District. If that is not enough fun, there is a large collection of toys and treats in my home that we will play with on a regular basis.

One of us is always home, So dog sitting is a daily routine and our dog always has minimum 3 walks a day and a dog park running time.
