Love being around dogs
Pet care experience
I am a college student at URI studying physical therapy. I am originally from Connecticut but I live in an off campus house in Kingston Rhode Island that has a fenced in yard. I love dogs; I have two big Akitas back home that I've helped care for, for about 10 years. They are each 110-130 pounds so I am use to holding back big dogs while walking. My family and I treat them as if they are part of the family; they are loved beyond words. We go out of our way to cook extra food like grilled salmon or chicken when we eat dinner so that way they can eat with us. I have taken care of other family members dogs as well as my friends dogs when they go on vacation or are out for the day/night. I was raised to treat dogs and animals in general as if they were family members and will treat your dog in the same manner.

Andrew is wonderful with Kenny! He is the perfect person to give me peace of mind when I can't get home from work to feed him and let him out. He is definitely my go to dog guy!!
Andrew Del Carmine is a smart, responsible and passionate person. These characteristics get exemplified even more so when working with dogs. Andrew, owns two Akita's and takes incredible care of them. He would be a fantastic addition to your team and his can-do attitude sets him apart from the rest.
Andrew is a very responsible person. He has excellent time management skills which for a dog walking is a big deal especially if he needs to take the dog on a walk or let them out, He also is very reliable so if you need a dependable person I would say Andrew is the best out their. He also has grown up with two dogs. They are Akitas, which are big dogs so he use to dealing with large dog, but also can work well with any size dog. He knows how to take of care of dogs and look after them.
Andrew is wonderful with animals, especially dogs. He has had 2 of his own for the past 10 years, which are very large (akitas) dogs and has great control of them. He has helped with my dog as well and has been very responsible & dependable. He is very caring with animals and expresses a great love of playing with them.

I love any dogs. But I do have a preference towards Akitas, Shiba Inus, Corgis, Westies, German shepherds, labs, and huskies. I would like to know the behavior of the dog and if it does not like certain things such as paws being touched or being hugged or picked up. If the dog has any specific needs or not. I don't mind being licked in the face or jumped on.
A typical day
I use to like taking dogs through the woods but with the recent epidemic of ticks and the new diseases that have come with them, I don't want to take chances with dogs because its difficult to see ticks in their fur. However, I will take them wherever the owner suggest. I love playing fetch with dogs and I especially love chasing them around the house or yard.
