High energy, hiking

Pet care experience

High Energy Dog Care caters to the needs of the active dog. If your dog loves to herd, run or work they would fit right in with our pack! A typical day with Bailey and I includes various activities to stimulate your dog both mentally and physically so they come home happy and tired. Here are videos showing us having fun to help you decide if I would be a good candidate. https://youtu.be/2UoveAdBUhk https://youtu.be/ttMOY80tecA https://youtu.be/CD2ShGlCT_o Mornings are typically spent at Stodders Neck to release built up energy. Bailey loves to herd the dogs, smell the smells and work with her frisbee. In the afternoon Bailey and I can be found either hiking the Blue Hills or going mountain biking in Wompatuck. In the evening we love to play hide and seek, do treat puzzles and practice commands/ tricks. Soon we will have our portable agility course built so we can practice our moves anywhere!

You will be so happy to have Andrew as your dog walker or pet sitter. He has all those special qualities you want in the person watching over your dog or cat -- kind, considerate, patient and experienced. Andrew recently brought his own puppy over to our dog friendly home, and I observed him patiently work with his dog to be a good visitor in our home. He came prepared with training treats, he cleaned up after his puppy and corrected undesired behavior quickly and quietly. It’s obvious the work he has been putting into training his own puppy. But, of course, no surprise there as he’s been working with dogs for many years. I’d say for at least 10 years Andrew has been walking his family’s dogs on trails and paths all over New England. He’s been able to handle multiple dogs at one time on these walks as well. Andrew has also had the opportunity to work with a special needs dog that was fostered by his mother and yet another dog that was adopted into their home from an abusive situation. Andrew is also very physically active and would match up well with a dog that needs a lot of exercise. You can’t go wrong with Andrew!!

Andrew is an all around dog guy! Since he was little he has loved dogs. He would beg his mom for a dog every day until the day she finally caved. From that point on Andrew was in love! He took on the responsibility of Mazi and she became daddys little girl. He is a responsable, reliable and loyal guy that has and always will be my dog watcher.

Andrew is the ideal candidate for man’s best friend’s...best friend! Aside from his genuine affection for dogs, his passions include hiking and outdoor activities with which he always loves to bring a furry companion. With Andrew, your pooch will be kept active, entertained and well-nourished. Just don’t be upset if your dog purchases hiking boots with your credit card ;).

Andrew is a hardworking and responsible young man who is extremely trustworthy. He has a passion for animals and is a great dad to his fur babies Bailey, Tucker and Louie. Andrew is patient and great with cats and dogs of all sizes. He loves the outdoors any time of year and exercise for his dog is a priority. Andrew can be trusted with your most precious pet and with your home. He is young and energetic and would be an asset to your team.

Are you okay with me bringing your dog to the locations listed in the About Me section? Are you okay with your dog off-leash at Stodders Neck, or do you prefer on-leash? This is the only place I allow my Bailey off-leash.

A typical day

Bailey and I visit Stodders Neck or Blue Hills every morning, sometime between 8:30am-11:30am. Bailey eats her lunch and then takes an hour nap after her morning exercise. In the afternoon we go for a 30-60 minute walk or run through my local neighborhood. The scenery ranges from wooded parks, large fields, the ocean and tons of squirrels!
