You read that headline right! Your dog will have the time of their lives with me in your hands. My name is Andrew and I promise to bring my years of experience taking care of our family’s dog back home in Connecticut to your dog. I absolutely love dogs of all kinds, though my favorite dogs are German Shepard’s. I can’t wait to take care of your dog and I know by the end of our experience we’ll be best friends!

Andrew was great! I was very overwhelmed due to being a new mommy and I needed a dog walker for my hyper huskie Eclipse. Andrew was so flexible with time and great working with E. I appreciate all his help. He a very clear communicator and let me know if he was running late and some times able to come a little early. Definitely will miss him as he's moving away from the community. I highly recommend!
Andrew was great and super professional! My dog is big and strong and is still learning how to behave during the walk (he still pulls and spins), and Andrew was able to safely control him and take him for a long walk. Definitely recommend Andrew.

Andrew was willing to help us walk our puppy as part of a team of walkers hired to help at our Assisted Living Community. Unfortunately he was not able to tolerate her normal puppy behaviors and cancelled our recurring walks. Andrew may be appropriate to hire to walk an older dog who is very calm. I would not recommend hiring Andrew if you are looking for help with a puppy.

I mostly do dog walks and I can’t do boardings because of my living setup and sittings I can’t do often. So on dog walks, I always double check to make sure the leash is secure or the harness is on correctly. If I can’t figure it out on my own for some reason, I always will call the owner or Google the harness if I can because I will never go on a walk unless the leash is secure. In addition to that, I will also follow any instructions given by the owner such as make sure they poop, give the dog a pill, etc.

It’s important to know any injuries a dog might have, any restrictions that a walker might need to know such as a type of harness or where they want to take the dog.
A typical day
I love listening to podcast on walks. I listen to a lot of podcasts. I also love listening to music on walks. If I can find a dog run with dogs and the owner is ok with the dog hanging out with other dogs, I will take the dogs to a dog run so that dogs can exercise and run around and hang out with other dogs. I find that dog runs tire out dogs a lot so I love that.

Availability
So I currently have a full time job working at a restaurant and cafe but I love to do walks on my off days. Sittings I cannot do often because of the job so I mostly do dog walks but if I can do a sitting I sure will!
