Pet care experience
Hi! I have been a caregiver to many animals. From cats, dogs, toads, snakes, chickens and rats. I’m that human stopping traffic to catch a dog on a cold day. I’ve brought and cared for over 10 neighborhood cats during nurturing/spaying and released. Some kittens were rehomed. I have mostly cared for senior dogs and helped 3 onto the next steps, kinda like a death doula. I meet animals where they’re at in their lives and try to make the best of it.

Andrew was great! Our pets warmed up to him right away and we felt totally comfortable leaving for the holiday. He was super responsive, quick to get a hold of and sent photos and updates during his stay. Will definitely be asking Andrew to stay in the future!

I live in a newer apartment building within the city/uptown setting. Plenty of quiet and busy streets. I’m in a dog friendly building. I have had homes in the past with fences, no fences and dog pads/diapers for special needs. I have a large and medium crate.
Information Andrew B. would like to know about your pet
I’m open to most dogs and their limitations. As long as I’ve been given instruction (that I may record if shown in person) and a schedule, I’m usually ok. I would like to know their commands and which still need working on. If there’s an emergency vet office preferred.
A typical day
I would take the pups on long walks to parks or lakes. If possible, long leash recall play, catch, trail walking and use the time to work on any skills.
